Meet the Dentists

Allison Biehle, DDS

Dr. Biehle is a North Vernon native. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Biehle is honored to work in her hometown and strives to provide the best care possible for the community. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Biehle married her husband, Ryan, in 2019, and they have two children, Theodore and Charlotte, who mean everything to them. They all enjoy spending time together along with their bulldog, Remi.

Allan L. Goins Jr., DDS

Dr. Goins has been providing dental care in North Vernon for over 40 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Hanover College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Goins is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association. His experience enables our dental office to provide top-quality care.

Dr. Goins and his wife, Linda, enjoy spending time with their family and grandchildren. He also loves to play cards and finds pleasure in being outside, golfing, and visiting French Lick.

Stephanie

Practice Manager
Stephanie has lived in North Vernon for 25 years and has been ensuring our office runs smoothly since joining Biehle Family Dentistry in 2011. She has more than 35 years of experience in the dental field and has an unparalleled ability to multitask. Stephanie has done almost everything you can in a dental front office, including filing claims, training new team members, and providing exceptional customer service. When she’s not supporting our patients and team, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandkids most of all, but she also loves getting outside, riding motorcycles, camping, and kayaking.

Olivia

Chelsea

Dental Hygienist
Chelsea completed her associate degree in dental hygiene at Ivy Tech Community College. She’s also certified in local anesthesia. Chelsea has been working as a dental hygienist for almost 13 years and with the Biehle Family Dentistry team since 2022. She likes to keep up to date with continuing education courses, including CPR and Indiana Ethics. Chelsea is married and has two kids, Maelee and Elynn. She enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in her kids’ sports. Other hobbies include reading and biking.

Lauren

Dental Hygienist
Lauren joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2023. She is a registered dental hygienist and has an associate degree from IUPUI and a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from Earlham College. She is also active in continuing her education and completes biannual dental hygiene courses. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and fur babies. She loves traveling to new places and trying new foods and recipes. Lauren studied abroad in Spain in college and has visited eight different countries.

Sara

Dental Hygienist
Sara joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2024 and brings nearly a decade of expertise in dental hygiene. A Jennings County native, Sara grew up in North Vernon and now calls Commiskey home with her husband. She is passionate about boosting her patients' confidence by improving their smiles and making their dental visits enjoyable. When she's not brightening smiles, Sara loves camping, traveling, and attending concerts. She's also a music enthusiast with a deep love for bears, McDonald's, Diet Coke, and Halloween. Fun fact? Ask her about the lyrics to Amish Paradise (Weird Al) and Gangsta’s Paradise—a die-hard Coolio fan, she knows it all.

Megan

Dental Hygienist
Megan joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2024 as a registered dental hygienist, bringing with her over a decade of experience in dental care. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010 and is committed to professional growth through biannual continuing education courses.

She grew up in Seymour and graduated from Seymour High School in 2006. She and her husband have two children, a son and a daughter, and enjoy a busy family life with their pets—a cat named Cruz, a dog named Rocky, and a hamster named Nugget. Outside of work, Megan loves to travel, play softball, and be involved in her children's activities, especially cheering on her son in baseball.

Carly

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Carly is a North Vernon native who started her dental career in 2009. She has been a member of the Biehle Family Dentistry team since 2014. After graduating from Ivy Tech Columbus in 2009 with a dental assisting certification, Carly returned to Dental Careers of Southern Indiana to obtain her expanded functions certification. She keeps our office running smoothly with her sharp memory and love for making connections with patients and colleagues. Outside the office, Carly enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her children, family, and friends.

Candi

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
A Brownstown native and Seymour local, Candi has been in the dental field since 2008. She has been a part of the Biehle Family Dentistry team since 2014. Candi graduated from Dental Careers of Southern Indiana in 2008 and is also a certified expanded functions dental assistant. She brightens everyone’s day at our practice with her humor and dance moves. Candi has been happily married since 2002 and enjoys spending time with her husband and family, as well as her dog, Kona. She also loves shopping and having drinks on the beach.

Kelsey

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kelsey is a North Vernon native. She received her certification as an expanded function dental assistant from Ivy Tech in 2013 and has been a member of the Biehle Family Dentistry team since 2017. Known as “Sunshine” because of her upbeat attitude, Kelsey loves connecting with patients and contributing to our office culture of collaboration and compassion. When she’s not doing what she loves at work, Kelsey loves watching a good scary movie, cleaning, and organizing. She also likes to ride horses with her family. Married to her husband, Chad, since 2010, Kelsey is also a proud mom to her three daughters, Elaina, Alice, and Amelia.

Anicey

Dental Assistant
Anicey joined Biehle Family Dentistry as a certified dental assistant in 2024. A graduate of Ivy Tech in Columbus, she brings extensive training in CPR, infection control, coronal polishing, nitrous oxide administration, and radiology. She has also completed additional courses in expanded functions dental assisting.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, fishing, and reading. Anicey is passionate about chocolate and is fluent in Spanish. She is a valuable addition to the Biehle Family Dentistry practice.

Katelyn

Dental Assistant
Katelyn, an expanded functions dental assistant (EFDA), joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2024 and has been working in the dental field for over seven years. She graduated from the International Business College in Indianapolis in 2013, specializing in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting.

She holds certifications in CPR, BLS (basic life support), and N2O (nitrous oxide). She lives with her two sons in Osgood and enjoys hobbies like reading, horseback riding, and quilting. Her love for working with kids makes her an integral part of the team. Outside of work, Katelyn is fond of peacocks, baby owls, french fries, and cherry vanilla Coke.

Blakelee

Assistant
Blakelee has been an assistant at Biehle Family Dentistry since 2024 and supports our clinic by taking impressions, setting up treatments, and sterilizing equipment. She is currently enrolled in dental assisting classes to further her certification. Her interest in dentistry began with her experience with positive braces in middle school.

When not at work, Blakelee enjoys camping, softball, and swimming. She also loves spending time with her family, including her younger brother and her cat. A true fan of Morgan Wallen, she adores everything about summer and the color pink. She is always eager to share a laugh and brighten someone's day.

Lexi

Front Desk Receptionist
Lexi joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2025 and brings a well-rounded skill set to the front desk. Originally from Brownstown, she now lives in downtown Madison and has a background that includes five years in dentistry as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and orthodontic technician. A graduate of MedQuest College, Lexi is certified in CPR and AED. Her friendly and adventurous nature helps create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members alike. When she’s not working, Lexi enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, concerts, fishing, and spending time on the water. She also has a hidden talent for leatherworking and shares her home with Crosley, her Australian Shepherd.

Abbie

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Abbie joined Biehle Family Dentistry in 2025 as an expanded functions dental assistant. She completed the Dental Assisting Program at Ivy Tech and holds certifications in CPR, expanded functions, caries prevention, and coronal polishing. Abbie enjoys working chairside and supporting patients throughout their appointments. She loves spending time with her family, especially her adventurous toddler, who keeps her busy with bike rides and Gator rides. Her favorite season is summer, and her go-to color is blue. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her outdoors or listening to country music.
